The Just Enough Descriptions plugin (JEED), a JEI/REI plug-in, provides information about status effects.
Note to EMI users. If you wish to install this mod, you must also have JEI along with EMI.
This mod introduces a brand new Effects Recipe category. You can access it by either clicking on one of the status effects icons that have been added to the JEI Item screen, or clicking on an effect in its inventory box.
You can view all the information about a status effect, such as what items it is based on or its description. Also you will be able see which mods it comes from and its color.
Customization
Modified effects will not have a description. The mod adds automatically all status effects registered to the page.
Modders may easily add descriptions of their effects by simply adding "effect.[mod_id]" to the language file. [effect_name].description" to their language file.
You can use the JeedAPIclass to add screen extensions to your screen, or you may want to use vanilla classes in order to inform Jeed of where to render effects to make them clickable.
Mod developers who want to add custom effects or items that provide effect can easily do so by incorporating some of their recipes in their mod.
