Minecraft has been invaded by evil!
The corruption and new monsters are spreading!
All hope isn't lost.
What if you could use the forces of corruption to your advantage?
Create new weapons and tools to combat the darkness that is encroaching.
Note that this mod is newly created and a work-in-progress, more monsters/tools/blocks to come in time.
What is the first step?
The new passive Cherub mob is worth a look. You can get the Purifying Essence by giving it a Flower.
Once you've got this purifying essence, go find Corrupted Ore. (At the moment, it is only Corrupted Iron Ore but there will be more in the future) Then, use the Essence to clean the Ore.
The Mote of Corruption is a symphony of corruption.
You can use the mote to create new corrupted objects (e.g. Corrupted Chest or Corrupted Pinton, etc.).
You can also use this to create a Seed of Corruption.
Use Purifying Essence to clean up the blocks that are corrupted after planting the seed. It gives you additional Motes.

Glyph: Blocksense
This magical glyph can be used for finding ores. Use the Glyph Blocksense to find ore by placing it in your other hand. If you are within 10 meters of iron ore, you will be alerted. You are closer to iron ore if the warnings become more frequent and intense.

The Hopper and Slipstring
Add Slipstrings and Corrupted Blocks.
Slipper
It acts like a hose from other mods.
The items that you put in (typically via a hopper), will move forward.
The item will be deposited in the chest if the slipstring is able to flow into it.
The items prefer to move in the direction that they currently flow.
Hopper Corrupted
The same functionality of the standard Hopper, but with an additional filter.
You can now use the "search" filter from Corrupted Chest.
It is important to note that the corrupted Minecraft hopper behaves exactly like the original Minecraft hopper.
However:
The hopper only takes in the items that are filtered (for example, set "#log" as the filter to take only logs).
You can manually place items into the hopper or deposit them via another pipe/hopper.
The corrupted hopper in the screenshot above is set to "#log", and it will remove logs from the slidestring, but not other items.

New item: Spiked Shield
This shield has been improved over the standard shield. This shield allows you to block normally, but with an additional bonus.
Press left-click while you're blocking using the shield to perform a shield bashing.
Your target will be stunned for one second by the shield bash.

New Monsters/Creatures
Stalker
The player crawls up the ceiling to try and drop on an unwitting opponent.
You can combine the Ultrasharp Claw with your boot to make Spiked Climbing Boots to automatically climb blocks. Jump to clear 2 block high barriers.
Air Spirit, Water Spirit and Inferal Spirit
Fire/Water/Earth/Air Elemental.
The essence of water/fire/etc. can be used to fuel an elemental furnace, and the heart of flame/etc. can also be used in crafting.
Combining all four hearts will create a Blade of the Elements
Oak Ent
The tree looks normal until someone attacks it. It will become angry and attack you if this happens.
Damage from fire and axes is increased, while damage from all other sources of damage is reduced.
Manticore
The underground is home to a rare, but deadly creature. It has the body of an ape and the tail of a scorpion. This allows it to quickly poison its prey with its tail.
Fairy
Rare but friendly floating creatures. It will save you from death if it is captured in a bottle.
Sand Worm
They burrow in the desert, waiting for unwitting prey. They may even attack if you get too close.
Mummy
A simple-minded animal that hides in darkness.
The scraps can be used to create a bandage. This bandage is a little healing but it cannot be used in combat.
Ender Demon
This is the fully developed form of Enderman. He will not attack you if you stare at him. He will instead attack you if you get close.
Rarely able to drop Ender Hourglass. The Ender Hourglass is a one-time item that temporarily slows down time in combat.
Imp
It is easy to kill, but it roams in groups. Don't get overwhelmed!
The ash can be dyed with the drops.
Cherub
The tiny angel that flies.
It will purify the air if you give it a single flower.
New Products
The Corrupted Chest
The chest with unlimited storage.
The items can be stacked indefinitely. Sorting the chest by view is possible. By default, it sort by most recently modified.
Text can be used to search the chest.
Search by tooltip or name (e.g. type "chest" for all chests).
You can also search for items by their tag. For example, #raw_materials
You can also use the mod name: awakened_evil
This chest supports the logic of these forms as well:

The items will be displayed only if the criteria to the left or right are met.

The items will only be displayed if any of these criteria are met.
e.g, cake,carrot,potato
The parenthesis is a useful operation.
Use to order/group
For example, "spawn egg" (piglin or ghast).
Bamboo Spike Trap
Traps that are laid on the floor waiting to catch a victim. Spikes are launched when stepped upon, causing damage.
When a mob is killed by this type of damage, they will gain experience.
The Seeds of Corruption
It will generate red blocks in the vicinity when planted on a farmland.
The blocks can be used in two ways:
1. Use Purifying Essence manually to receive additional Motes Corruption
2. Purify your home automatically with a purifier
Purifier
Automatically purifies corrupted block (created by Corruption Seedling).
It will deposit corruption in a Vessel of Corruption nearby if one is within its range if it has purified the block.
This is a very slow way to generate corruption energy.

There are two ways to add corruption:
1. Use a Mote of Corruption to manually deposit corruption on the block.
2. Use a Purifier to deposit corrupt material slowly.
Useful for creating special recipes, which usually include magic.
There are 5 interactivity spots on the altar: four side platforms, and one central platform.
If you use the right ingredients, the altar will allow you to create new items.
You can use this to make magical Glyphs, or to obtain certain enchanted book.
For each recipe, you will need to put 1 item on the central platform. You can then place up to 4 items (or less) on either side of the central platform in any order.

Operates only with corruption. If there is any corruption in the Vessel of Corruption, it will be automatically removed.
If you give the forge any elemental essence, such as Essence of Fire, and raw ore, it can produce twice as many ingots.
The forge will stop temporarily operating if it runs out or corruption, and/or elemental essence.
Tears of the Kingdom: Inspired by Zelda.
This magic glyph places a mark on the ceiling of a building up to 10 floors above.
The item can be used to traverse solid blocks and ascend up until it reaches a surface if the marker is green.
The red marker indicates that there are no exits from the area above.
Has limited charges.
Glyph Blink
You can teleport to a location that you're currently viewing.
Has limited charges.
Glyph: Illuminate
Illuminates your surroundings for a set duration.
The light has a magical nature. It will not stop monsters from appearing.
Has limited charges.
Improvised Bandage
Use by holding down the button
You will be healed after channeling it for just a few moments.
You will be interrupted if you're attacked. This cannot be used after a recent attack.
This requires corruption in order to work. It is necessary to have a Vessel of Corruption nearby with enough energy.
It will start drilling and consuming corruption when powered by Redstone.
This drill destroys blocks and damages entities.
Ender Hourglass
This slows down nearby projectiles and monsters for several second.
The item can be used to launch an eye hook.
You can still swing if the hook strikes a wall.
The hook should be positioned above the swinging arm to allow gravity to work.
Hold the spacebar if you're directly beneath the hook.
You can extend the rope if you're directly beneath the hook by pressing Control or Alt. (Up to the maximum length).
The rope ties you to the hook if you're on the ground. By holding down Control or Alt, you can extend the rope.
You can use the spacebar to climb upwards, or hold control (or alt) to climb downwards if you're currently grappled. You can use spacebar or alt to ascend upwards. You must face the wall from which you wish to ascend or descend.
You can try to move around by moving (wasd), or face a wall, and then rappel. Shift can be used to break the tether.
To disengage the rope, press shift.
Blade of the Elements
Fighting evil with style
The glowing sword can be used for slaying monsters.
To create this weapon, kill all elements and collect the 4 hearts of each element.
Spiked Climbing Shoes
You can automatically climb blocks without needing to jump. Jump to 2 block heights or climb by yourself.
