Zephyr is a REAL challenge where skills and strategies are more important than any other factor.
Zephyrpac is a light, expanded vanilla challenge that focuses on resource management, combat and base defense. Zephyr is a semi-realistic, immersive game with a modular and overhauled weapon system. It also features monsters you will be able to fear.
In this hostile environment, your wit, skill, and vigilance are essential to your survival. You will be faced with new challenges, where every mistake you make, your decision and your advancement determines your fate.
Those who are brave enough to take on the Zephyr winds will be rewarded with a tale of legend. Do you want to create your own legacy in a universe that requires more than just survival, but also mastery?
You can forget what you knew about Vanilla. In Zephyr mobs are threatening fortresses. Winter brings a bone-chilling chill. Food, automation and subtle necessities define a survivor’s wealth. But be careful, because if you are found by death, it may steal your entire life. Fear not; there are opportunities for you to recover your heart. You just have to look.
Automating with the Create mod is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Learning to automate the production of valuable materials will help you achieve success. You can use automated cobblestone machines, lumber farms and chainmail grinders to produce valuable materials.
Building Wisely and Surviving Strategically
Zephyr is particularly hostile to large caves. Do not enter caves without preparation. Monsters can also be found on the surface, hidden in the darkness of untamed forests or cliffsides. Hire villagers to protect your base, or iron golems, to keep the raiders at bay. Create a civilisation that can survive all the dangers of the world.
Nether can be a harsh place to live. You'll need to use a sewing machine to insulate armor using leather. You can use an icebox for cooling down waterbottles, buy extra bottles of water, and wear armor that is insulated to avoid heatstroke. You can gather all the items you need by preparing well.
Zephyr will welcome those who are brave enough to confront its fury. Are you prepared to show your skills in survival and conquer this land? Get your friends together, get ready, and let the Zephyr winds carry you onward!
Here are some helpful tips to help you understand the main game elements of this pack!
When you die you lose your heart, but they can be found in chests or crafted back. Search heart container on JEI. They can be made with golden apples, melons and melons!
Terrain affects your movement speed. Create paths by cutting down the tall grass.
You can be seen by monsters through walls, and even from a distance. The worst of all are CREEPERS. Every creeper can detonate if it is close enough to you. They will even do this through walls. You can take that how you want... but know that few houses will survive the night. Fortify your base cleverly!
TETRA MOD IS GREAT. The strength of wooden tools is extremely low. Tetra allows for modular modification of these wooden tools. Create a wooden workbench and a hammer from the crafting table. You can then explore the diverse interface to change and upgrade any tool with many different materials. To modify your gear you'll need an axe, a knife, and a hammer. Don't forget about upgrading your hammers to later upgrades. [wood, stone, metal, etc.]
Check the sockets on each tool. You can create interesting weapons from every type of tool.
Preparing for the temperature is important. The safe temperature range [on the thermometer at the bottom left] is 50-100. Your core temperature [the number over your hot bar] will be different if your temperature exceeds either extreme. You will start to suffer damage if this number exceeds 100 either way. To stay warm, you can use leather on ANY armor to protect yourself. You can also put waterkins in the hot bar after they have been heated in a [boiler or icebox]. Only the water in your hotbar will drop its temperature. Normalize your temperature by eating certain foods or drinking water!
It is very important to eat. Running, fighting, or mining will make you hungry, so it is important to have enough food. There is also a system of nutrients. Hovering your mouse over each food will show you its nutritional value. Click the bread icon to check your nutrition! You will be buffed if you maintain good nutrition. The latter will make you weaker. I recommend checking your nutritional status every now and then!
I'll end with a brief summary of the typical first day. You will burn through food very quickly if you are in a fight. If you still have some time left, grab some wood and tools, then dig an underground safety bunker or look for other ways to survive. You could also try hiding in an abandoned building. I created this modpack to give players a more realistic survival experience. I wanted them to be able think critically, take decisions and create strong bases. The RNG monster spawns and grind of leveling made RLCraft a very unfun game. So I created this modpack through playtesting and effort. The config files were a bit complicated to get it working at "fair" levels, but let me know what you think if anything is wrong. If you want this to be more difficult and realistic, then add the First Aid Mod! Update: Finally, I made it to the end. Next, I will be creating a first-aid mod video. GGs~ Blue.
