Installation Guide

• The host will prepare a Sims 4 house with all the sims for everyone to use.
• Launch S4MP after downloading and extracting the S4MP zip file. It may not open if you don't run it with admin rights and remove it from antivirus.
• The default setting for S4MP is to set the Document Path in S4MP Settings tab.

• By default, S4MP will set the folder path for your game in its settings tab.

• To prevent connection issues, allow S4MP to be allowed through Firewall settings.
• Choose one of these options to join together before playing on LAN. If you are all connected on the same network, you can skip this step.

a: Port forwarding can be done by one player using their router's settings.

b: A VPN can be installed by all players to simulate a Local Area Network (LAN).

• You can also share the IP or VPN address of your room with other players by clicking Play on LAN.
• Press Everyone is Connected then press Start Game. You can start the game manually if it doesn't begin.
• If you let The Sims load and then select the savegame, load the household into that same game, an in-game notification should indicate the multiplayer is loaded.
