Installation Guide

1. The host will prepare a Sims 4 house with all the sims for everyone to use.

2.Launch S4MP after downloading and extracting the S4MP zip file. It may not open if you don't run it with admin rights and remove it from antivirus.

3.The default setting for S4MP is to set the Document Path in S4MP Settings tab.

4.By default, S4MP will set the folder path for your game in its settings tab.

5.To prevent connection issues, allow S4MP to be allowed through Firewall settings.

6.Choose one of these options to join together before playing on LAN. If you are all connected on the same network, you can skip this step.

Port forwarding can be done by one player using their router's settings.

A VPN can be installed by all players to simulate a Local Area Network (LAN).

7.You can also share the IP or VPN address of your room with other players by clicking Play on LAN.

8.Press Everyone is Connected then press Start Game. You can start the game manually if it doesn't begin.

9.If you let The Sims load and then select the savegame, load the household into that same game, an in-game notification should indicate the multiplayer is loaded.
