You will have to do two things before you can move on to the Higher Education Branch.

Any degree is possible. You can move forward as long as you hold a degree. For the second option, you'll need your smartphone to complete the test and it will cost 125 Simoleons.

Either you pass the test or fail it, but pass you will. Just like the real world, you have a 50% chance of passing the test. This is an example.

You can access this pie menu via the Computer > University menu. This pie menu is what the menu looks like up to the Dean of Students. The menu below will appear when you reach Dean of Students level.

You can access this pie menu via the Computer > University menu. This pie menu is what the menu looks like up to the level of Endowed Professor. The menu below will appear when you reach the Distinguished Profesor (the top level).

You can also use a different pie menu when you have a student on your lot.

Teach a class

The faculty member will be able to choose whether or not they want to instruct a course. You can do it after working hours. Use the Phone menu > Work to locate this option.

You will get the below buff when you attend classes that last between 90 and 120 minutes.
