Move Tool

NOTE: This mod is in-development. The current version is usable, but might lack features and/or stability. Additionally, the current Move Tool model is only a placeholder. The first-person view is a bit broken. It is recommended to use the third-person view!

This mod adds a tool that allows you to move, rotate and scale any structure in ARK: Survival Ascended. It is currently unlocked at level 0 and costs 1 wood. This might change in the future. You can select a block to move by shooting at it using the tool, and use the opened interface to move, rotate and scale the target structure. 

Numpad Controls

To select a structure, shoot the gun at it. Only one structure can currently be selected at a time. A gizmo will appear on the currently selected structure and will also indicate whether the tool is in translation or rotation mode. Shooting at a different structure will select that one instead and deselect the previous one. Putting away the tool will also deselect the current structure. The tool is in translation mode by default. The following keys can be used to move the object:

• Numpad 7: move along +X axis, Numpad 1: move along -X axis
• Numpad 8: move along +Y axis, Numpad 2: move along -Y axis
• Numpad 9: move along +Z axis, Numpad 3: move along -Z axis

By pressing Numpad 5, the tool can be switched to rotation mode (and back to translation mode by pressing it again). The following keys can be used to rotate the object:

• Numpad 7: rotate along +X axis, Numpad 1: rotate along -X axis
• Numpad 8: rotate along +Y axis, Numpad 2: rotate along -Y axis
• Numpad 9: rotate along +Z axis, Numpad 3: rotate along -Z axis

Regardless of the translation/rotation mode, Numpad 4 can be used to uniformly shrink the object, and Numpad 6 can be used to uniformly scale the object.
