What is next? When KP and I asked this question, here are a few of the things that we are most excited for next.

Super eager to open the config file up and begin to expose some of the settings that make sense. Think about changing the number of total plants spawned, behavior of hair mechanics, behavior of the gravity buff, behavior of the bubble-of-animal-throwing, station specific fuel-requirements, station specific build-progress-timers, stat-modifiers such as the weight-buff, AOE on contact highs, length etc.

Various grow-lamps for indoor and outdoor space, working on some design ideas and early offerings for grow lights. Since there can be so many spaces you want to put your plants we are trying to come up with something clever to satisfy the plant growing on your desk to the row of 50 plants out on the farm.

Massive-farming grow strips and organized feeding/watering/harvesting options - think about being able to seed and managed large rows of plants in configurable shapes with single touch effort. This will also provide an opportunity to mass-farm other plants and can be combined with grow lights to extend an opportunity to creative massive indoor grow facilities for the 420 plants as well as any of the other plants found in ark.

Adding in a few additional species with varying affects and an opportunity to breed them to create unique blends. We are currently thinking about how to take various strains and marry them to the various biomes on the map. If we are in the swamp, something swampy. If you are at the very tip-top of the ice mountains in -40deg perhaps there is something really special there that can only grow if you recreate these harsh conditions. This is a ways off but we love talking about it!

Boom shakalaka, we are almost there. A little polish left and we can consider v1 update official. As for those of you that have been here, thank you, all of your 3D in-game Models should now be pretty, the plants drippy purple and greens, the production of materials balanced and best of all, 420 RANDOMly spawned plants on any map you want to add it to, even custom MOD maps. Thank you friends and supporters, you make it worth it, stay lit, stay kind! - Ugh and crew.

This major release was all about code, next month's focus will be to finish perfecting all the 3D and 2D models.

Plants now spawn in the wild, 100 plants per map, all maps, random location.

Smoking a doobie effects: Less fall damage, higher carry weight, fun hair-do, character animation with fire and smoke for all to enjoy. Get close to other players, they can partake with you. A few other fun un-documented effects, cuz, ya know, plants.

Updated 3d model for wild plants isn't great will get perfect next release Old 3d models for plants are/were very pretty but have INSANE high poly-count making FPS drop to nil if you grow too many. Top priority for next release.

Updated 3d model for dryer, needs love.

Once you have fresh leaves and seeds/other products, you can take them anywhere on the cluster.

Wild plants, seeds, grow-able plants, dry-able plants, nugs, doobie rollers, drying hut, and finally that smokable doobie.
