Bullets On Demand Filling turrets has to be one of the top 10 most tedious and boring aspects of Ark. We all asked for an ammo box of some kind to help with this task, but the one they gave us never really worked the way we wanted it to, and the range on it was so terribly small that you sometimes needed multiples to get the job done. Not to mention that since it was released with the Genesis Part 1 map originally, we aren't likely to see it in the base game until around the end of the year, or even beginning of 2025!
I have a solution!
My modded ammo box, Bullets On Demand, is the same original concept as the Ark Ammo Box, but with a more logical distribution system, much larger range, manual and auto rebalancing, and manual and auto recall of bullets! What does all of that mean?
This mod is not compatible with Stack Mods.

Range
3 different range sizes to fit your base needs. The idea is that you should only ever need one of these boxes in your base. However, the default settings for the ammo boxes allow up to 10 in total, this includes both types of ammo boxes. The ranges below are able to be set in the multi use wheel and apply to turrets only. To change the number of boxes in range, and the range for the ammo boxes, see the server configs page.
Small: 20 foundation diameter
Medium: 40 foundation diameter
Large: 80 foundation diameter
Distribution
The Bullets On Demand Ammo Box will calculate total bullets available, then divide the total bullets by the number of activated turrets in range, and equally distribute all bullets at once to all available turrets. It will look for more bullets to add every 20 seconds. The vanilla box would only fill 10% of the turret's total capacity every 60 seconds. Meaning that if you had 3 auto turrets, each with a capacity of 1400 (14 slots x 100 bullets in each slot)....and you had 300 bullets in the vanilla ammo box, then it would put 140 bullets into the first 2, and only 20 bullets into the last one. The same scenario, 3 turrets, 300 bullets, in the Bullets On Demand Box, will result in 100 bullets in each Turret.
Rebalancing
Manual: With the press of a button inside the inventory of the Bullets On Demand Ammo Box (option also available on the multi use wheel), the box determines total amount of bullets, and then finds all available turrets (powered on), then re-divides all bullets to all turrets.
Auto: The same functionality as above, but on 1, 5, 10, 20, and 30 min interval options. There is also an option to disable this timer. It is set to 10 mins by default.
Destroyed Turret Bullet Recall
The auto recall only pulls bullets back bullets that are dropped into a death cache from the turret due to the turret being destroyed or picked up. It will then redistribute 20 seconds after recall.
Can be disabled in server configs.
Color Options without Dyes
Each ammo box has an option in the multi use wheel to change the color of the box without using dyes. The Tek Ammo Box has a separate wheel for the glowing lights!
