First version just out!

Grinded out on the island after two weaks? Got all dedicated storages full to the brim? Then maybe this is something for you, to take that extra route while farming meat for your breeding factory! This mod aims to add a little flavour to the current limited basegame content. Venture out to collect a new type of item, DNA Data Cores! These cores hold ancient information from past survivors that might just be useful to you. Combine them with deconstructed DNA Data from tribute items, some extra stuff to make the grind worthwhile and create a modification to enhance you or your tames! Since you can´t just inject yourself with random DNA you found in the wild, these modifications will be added to your armor or your tames saddles. Much safer that way!

Now, while you wear the modified armor or ride your tame with a modified saddle, the effects kick in and make you stronger, faster, smarter ... whatever Data you found!

There are four tiers of Data cores to be found and crafted into modifiers: Basic, Uncommon, Rare and obviously Legendary! (because why not?) Each higher tier of modifier needs the core of that tier and the modifier one tier down to upgrade, so get your grind on and collect your boost!

In short words:

• This mods adds an extra reason to grind those tribute items, supply drops, loot crates, alphas and bosses.
• Data cores are found in loot crates, bosses etc. and can be crafted into armor/saddle modifications to give them a boost!
• Stats to collect: Armor, Durability, Carry weight, Movement Speed, Durability, Stamina, Health, Melee Damage and Crafting Skill
• Each effect has it´s designated armor slot or saddle and can not be stacked! (Game says no anyway)
• Ingame configuration allows for live modification on the applyed stats. Each stat will add on to the base stat provided by the item or player/dino stat.
• Comes with .sav file to move around clusters
• Data core items are added to loottables via game.ini, visit the discord to get a premade copy-pasteable bunch of lines to add to your server! Also has a beacon project file for you to use.
• Everything else is done in the DNA Decon Station (this mods crafting structure) that easily fits on any table.
