Project Anomaly is a clean and stackable mod (no compatibility issues) that seeks to add creatures based around vanilla ARK, without going too far over the line. The mod is largely inspired by the creatures from Genesis and Genesis II, being specialized creatures that are designed to inhabit a specific unnatural environment. While you may not be able to explore these creature’s homes, you’ll be able to explore their capabilities, and how you can push them to their limits to explore new utilities!
This mod adds the Galvarex to your game: Eccentric and agile carnivores, Galvarex can be found frequently stalking through colder climates. Prolonged combat may result in spikes of bioelectricity surging through their bodies, amplifying their speed and ferocity for a time.
To tame a Galvarex, you need them to activate their Galvanize ability. Activating this ability required them to max out their Energy meter, which is build by running, dealing damage, and killing enemies. Once this ability is active, you'll need to wait for it to end, and the Galvarex to fall over onto the ground Exhuasted. During this Exhaustion period, Galvarex can receive torpor and cannot run. Use this to your advantage! Be careful if you see it hopping around while Galvanized, though, because that means its energy meter may just go all the way back up!
Alpha Galvarex are much stronger than their standard variants, and charge up very quickly. This electric overload causes lightning to arc around them when galvanized, so be aware!
Additionally, using a Transmutator on a tranquilized wild Galvarex may have some abnormal results..
