A flyable party ship for up to 16 Kerbals!
Flying Instructions:
Load/Unload as many Kerbals into the passenger module as you want. (Up to 16.) They will probably bounce around during flight, for unknown reasons. Deploy the fairing whenever desired.
Turn on SAS and RCS immediately. Keep the maneuver target right on the ground dot at all times. (Keep in mind that prograde/retrograde controls are reversed since the command module is upside-down.) Adjust the throttle as necessary -- this stage can actually fly pretty fast but the guests may not appreciate that.
Reach around 1000m, turn off the engines (important), then deploy the parachutes while falling -- they will help to stabilize the craft when going downwards. Use the thrusters to slow downward motion, but don't go upwards again unless you've cut the parachutes first.
Use custom action controls 1-4 to control horizontal movement with the ion engines in the center. (Note: very very slow.) There are ion engines on the bottom, too, but not useful on the surface. (Orbit boosters sold separately!)
