Valiant 100-A S.S.T.O (Mk1 - Modded)

This is a three seater, Mk-1 S.S.T.O with a hidden internal science kit comprising of a thermometer, barometer, gravioli detector and a science container to store the results in. Designed for non-stop flights to, and from the surface of Mun or Minmus without refueling. May be able to go further with gravity slingshots, but untested.

Custom Action groups set as follows;

1.) Toggle - Deploy Flap

2.) Toggle - "Space Mode" //  Switch Rapier Mode, Activate - Nerv Engine, Toggle - Air intakes & Cockpit Reaction Wheel

3.) Toggle  - Rapier Engines On/Off

4.) Log Temperature, Log Barometric Pressure, Log Gravity

5.) Toggle - Solar Panels, Toggle - DTS-M1 Antenna

6.) Action - Science Container Collect All

7.) Action - DTS-M1 Antenna Transmit All

No RCS as its not required.

Launch technique is;

Press 1 to deploy flaps

Hit space bar,

right click and shutdown the Nerv Engine,

take off and go to mach 2,

pull 30 degrees pitch,

hold till 20k+ Altitude,

Rapier flameout hit action group 2,

burn off ALL oxidizer on "prograde" to pre-orbit at 80-90k,

circularize at Apoasis.

Re-entry balance is forward nose tank full & remaning fuel in main Liquid Tank 1 behind Mk1 Cabin. Pump fuel to outer rear liquid tanks to maintain balance if required. Hit Action group 2 for atmosphere toggle under 30k @ 800m/s

Rear dome tank is a fiddly click due to Nerv merging.
