The Jublio System

Have you ever wanted to feel like Kaiser Kattail? Then this mod is for you! It is a set of configs that rearrange the planets of the stock system into the Jublio system from the Gigastructural Engineering mod for Stellaris.

The planets' appearances remain the same as vanilla (so Kerbin still looks like Kerbin), but their sizes, gravity, atmosphere, orbits, and names are changed to match that of the Jublio planets.

I do not plan to make it into a fully new and custom system because KSP2 comes out soon, but I might try to do it for KSP2 if modding it is easy enough. This is just a quick thing I made in a couple of hours, and actually changing the textures is surprisingly difficult.

The KSC is thus located on Flusion, which has slightly lower gravity (0.85G) and a slighter thicker atmosphere. Delta-v requirements should thus be similar to stock Kerbin.

 

INSTALLATION

Download the .zip and drop JublioSystemKSPScale OR JublioSystemRealScale into your GameData folder. DO NOT DROP BOTH!

JublioSystemKSPScale has the planets scaled like in KSP, so Flusion is roughly 510 km in radius.

JublioSystemRealScale has the planets with their in-lore scale, so Flusion is roughly 5100 km in radius. It is highly recommended you use SMURFF alongside so you have enough delta-v to actually do stuff.

 

PREREQUISITES

Make sure to install these mods, or this will not work!

Kopernicus is needed to rename the planets and alter orbits.

SigmaDimensions is required to actually modify the planets.

Eve Recolor is not technically required, but it will make Veene the proper color, so it is highly recommended.

 

COMPATIBILITY

Compatible with all mods that don't replace the stock system, including visual ones (the planets will get clouds).

Do not use this mod with an existing save!
