I'm quitting Wildstar so this addon won't be updated anymore. I highly suggest using the "Perspective" addon which has far more functionality than this.

 

[Note] This is not my addon. It was created by Garet Jax on the Wildstar forums. I'm just posting this as it's a great addon and Garet hasn't been active on the forums in quite a while. If Garet PM's me on the Wildstar forums (username is "Greatheart"), I'll gladly remove this so he can upload and maintain an official version.

 

HarvestPlates by Garet Jax

Introduction

HarvestPlates is an addon that adds nameplates to every item you can harvest. It's a simple addition to any nameplates.

Currently there is no configuration outside of LUA file and the nodes show through walls (occlusion checks are broken) at a distance of 150 meters (those are meters, right?).

Slash Commands

/harvest_color   - Call without parameters to go back to default color. Call with color name to set all nameplates color to this color. The values can be any value accepted by ApolloColor:

•    You can use standard names, like "red".
•    RGB color codes in hex format with alpha transparency as first two characters: <alpha><red><green><blue>. So a code "ff0066ab" means "ff" opacity (100%) and "0066ab" in standard RGB values.

/harvest_farm    - Call without parameters to show all farmer nodes (default). Call with one parameter to show only nodes with specified name. Type the node name exactly as it appears on the nameplate. This does not affect nodes other than farming.
