ChatSounds

ChatSounds will play distinct short sounds for incoming messages to the following social channels:

• Party, Instance, Society, Guild, Guild Officer, Warparty, Warparty Officer

Additionally it will monitor global channels for mentions of your character name and sound an alert as well as duplicate the message snippet as Floating Text on screen.

Global channels monitored for mentions of your name are:

• Say, Yell, Zone, ZonePVP, Trade as well as Custom channels.

This is an early version that should be fully functional but lacks configuration options, apart from a global on/off switch in the form of /chatsounds

It has only been tested with the default Carbine ChatLog, if you are using a custom ChatLog replacement your mileage may vary :)

Filtered channels that are not present in any chat window will sound no alerts.

TODO:

• Configuration options: Allow user selectable sounds, Allow disabling alerts for any /all of the supported channels separately.
• Allow setting Alt Names or Nickname / short name for monitoring.
