Sound Mute Toggle

This is a simple addon that allows the user to toggle their sound volume with the /mute slash command.
Sometimes, I prefer to have the sound off, when doing menial things, such as crafting.  With this, I can do just that, without having to go through menus to do so.

There is currently no UI for this, but I am considering adding a UI button on-screen somewhere.

Features:

• Simple command to toggle sound on and off. (/mute)
• Remembers volume and toggle on an account level, rather than per character.
• Additional arguments supported for specific volume muting
  • /mute music
  • /mute ui
  • /mute sfx
  • /mute ambient
  • /mute voice
  • Note that individual muting or un-muting is disabled, by design, while the master volume has been muted.

 

 Known Issues:

• After unmuting, certain sounds, like level up noises, will occur all at once.  This is a bug in Wildstar, that occurs when muting the sounds, through the game UI, also.  This Addon is unable to resolve that.
