Stand-alone Scrolling Combat Text

If you prefer your display less cluttered rather than 100's of numbers flying around obscuring your view, then this addon will help tidy this up by consolidating 'heal out' and 'damage out' combat text in to their own scroller. It will also use an additive damage and healing system to group AoE damage and healing into a single number. Surely everyone likes bigger numbers in their RPG!

Be aware, this is stable but unfinished. Expect to see more scrollers and more options over the coming weeks and months, some of which are listed towards the bottom of this description.

Technical Information

Safekoto utilizes libraries used by KBM (King Boss Mods) but does NOT require KBM to be installed. What this does provide is little to no extra overhead when dealing with combat tracking if you already have KBM installed.

All systems use a queue based rendering engine along with delta-timing to ensure system performance impact is minimal.

• Note: You will need to manually turn off Rift's internal version via the Settings/Screen Messages options. Unfortunately addon authors have no direct access to changing settings via the API.

Current Features

• Scrolling healing output with appropriate ability icon.
• Scrolling damage output with appropriate ability icon.
• Both damage and heals use accumalitive stacking of damage if the display queue is full.
• Adjustable position of Heal and Damage output scrollers.
• Slash commands for access to UI adjustments.
• Toggle icons for all scrollers (both via slash command or UI interaction)

Commands

• /sko_help: Displays this list of in-game commands.
• /sko_unlock_heal_out: Unlocks the Heal Out scroller for position.
• /sko_unlock_damage_out: Unlocks the Damage Out scroller for position.
• /sko_unlock_all: Unlocks all scrollers and makes them visible.
• /sko_default: Resets all scrollers to their default settings.
• /sko_icon_damage_out: Toggles the visibility of icons for the Damage Out scroller.
• /sko_icon_heal_out: Toggles the visibility of icons for the Heal Out scroller.
