Check out the original Java mod that are responsible for this amazing concept.
Tinkers' Construct is a Java mod, first created by mDiyo, now recreated in Bedrock Edition! This add-on adds a variety of new tools and weapons to the game, along with some extra features.
This add-on currently adds 14 unique, customisable tools. While there are basic vanilla materials, like wood, stone and iron, there are now various unique ones, such as bone, flint, and even brand new alloys like manyullyn and pig iron, which are recreated to the best of my ability and maintained to be used in 1.19.50 and above!
The mods binaries, as well as its textures and code are licensed under the MIT License.
I am not, in any way, affiliated with the Java mod, so please don't disturb them with questions about this add-on.
Obviously this add-on is not perfect, seen as though I made a whole segment dedicated to its differences from the mod. Regardless, it's been a really big passion of mine to create this and I hope anyone who tries this enjoys it.
Much of this add-on aims to recreate Tinkers' Construct to the closest degree possible, yet of course there's always limitations to work around.
There are currently 14 tools:
Tools currently can only made with completely one material, and use the 1.12.2 stats.
These materials include:
These tools can have 2 modifiers max, including:
Buckets of Molten Fluid instead hold 2 ingots worth of fluid, with Copper Cans still holding 1 ingot worth of fluid.
These can be poured on to the Casting Table or in the Casting Basin.
Seared Melters have a max capacity of 3 ingots worth of fluid, with either a Seared Heater, Tank or Gauge to power it for 4 total smelts per fuel.
(Copper Cans/Buckets required to use).
Currently, the Smeltery is exclusively a 3x3x1 structure and has a max capacity of 18 ingots worth of fluid at once, only holding one type of fluid, besides when making alloys (instructions shown in Materials and You).
To power the controller, interact with a Lava Bucket, allowing for 1000mb of fuel (10 smelts) or if the tank is in the opposite corner, the controller will be automatically filled.
In terms of exploration, slime patches are a current replacement for slime islands, due to technical problems with its generation.
This add-on is kind of a hybrid of all versions of Tinkers' Construct, taking various aspects from each major version, including its textures.
While the updated 1.18.2 textures are considered the default for the pack, you can still use the classic 1.12.2 Java texture overlay pack (Tinkers’ Glory Days), which will continue to have long-term support for as long as this add-on lives.
RTX compatibility
Recently, I’ve been tinkering (pun intended) with Minecraft RTX and the add-on should now have rtx support (can also be used with the Glory Days pack).
A neat bonus for Bedrock, if you're interested in this.
