Description

This mod tags Drinking Buddy as an "essential" NPC so that he will never die.

He will instead shut down temporarily as if he were a companion and regenerate his health.

Recommended installation method: Vortex 

 

Manual Installation Instructions (this is only if you want to install without Vortex):
1.   Download the Manual File
2.   Extract the file to Desktop (or anywhere convenient)
3.   Inside the now extracted "EDBESL" folder copy the file called "EssentialDrinkingBuddy.esl"
4.   Go to your Fallout 4 data folder (Generally located at C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonFallout 4Data)
5.   Paste EssentialDrinkingBuddy.esl into the location
6.   Enable the mod in your mod load order in-game
