Not everything has been updated for Shadowlands yet; please consult the table below (Supported Rotations). If a spec is in WIP or KO status, do not report an issue regarding it.
If the system lacks necessary dependencies (HeroDBC or HeroLib), installation must occur to complete your system setup.
If you are encountering issues with AoE rotations (such as abilities not being recommended), check that enemies' nameplates have been activated and there are enough nameplates displayed (camera can hide some).
When you see an icon with "POOL" written within, this indicates you need to combine resources. Resource pooling is an expected and normal behavior. Please follow this link for more details on resource sharing.
If you update via the Twitch Client and would like every change as they come out, set the addon type to Alpha by right clicking and choosing Alpha under Release Types. Please be aware that this may include updates which break functionality!
HeroRotation can be found at GitHub under various licenses with contributors, forks and stars; issues, pull requests as well as closed issues/pul requests being open or closed (closed issues/pul requests can only be closed by closing issues/pul requests ) from closed issues/pul requests to issues and release dates; as well as commits since most recent release (by date) until last commit.
HeroRotation is a World of Warcraft addon designed to give players information necessary for performing optimal DPS rotation in every PvE scenario at max level, using HeroLib and HeroDBC technology. Aethys and the HeroTC team maintain it.

Most commands and options have been moved into Addons Panels for easy viewing by visiting Interface -> Addons -> HeroRotation.

The main icon displays the next ability you should cast. Two smaller icons above it show useful abilities (often off-GCD). One medium icon on the left outlines every ability which must be multi-dotted using nameplates.
One medium-small icon on the upper-left displays potential offensive/utility abilities for combat situations (trinkets, potions...). and one medium-small icon located on the upper-left displays potential defensive abilities for specific circumstances (trinkets, potions...).
Use toggles or AoE to switch on or off CDs as required or adjust rotation according to circumstances (and to temporarily suspend this addon if need be).
Toggles may use direct key bindings; simply configure them under "Game Menu -> Key Bindings -> AddOns."
Every simulation relies on SimulationCraft Action Priority Lists for accuracy/reliability of addons, meaning its success often hinges on its quality APL creation process.
Be mindful that some APLs perform admirably under some simulation circumstances but deteriorate dramatically when used in-game due to too much sequencing/lack of priority.
Acknowledging both single target and AoE rotations automatically adapting, Range radar can detect enemies around targets more accurately as your party size grows (example being energy before using cooldowns as a rogue) Pool resources efficiently when needed (ex: energy before using cooldowns as rogue) Optimize pooling when necessary (ex: pool energy before cooldown use, optimize resource pooling before cooldown use etc); Next cast prediction (specific to casting positions); Accurate TimeToDie/ FightRemains prediction as casters prepare.
Special handlers for difficult abilities (example: finality or exsanguinated bleeds for rogues). Solo mode to prioritize survivability over DPS. (This option does not appear every rotation; disabled in Dungeon/Raid mode.). Rotations that support this team/rotations that feature this team. (No availability in Dungeon/Raid modes though.). As previously discussed, every rotation relies heavily on SimulationCraft Action Priority Lists (APL).
This means its success hinges on optimizing these APLs in terms of talents, items and mechanics/gimmicks that might affect its optimality.
Do be wary that what this addon shows is only what a robot on SimulationCraft would do in your situation (he never fails, so unexpected results could occur).
Your contribution also allows us to improve APL by using addons and reporting any issues encountered with them. Rogue theorycrafters utilize both SimulationCraft and HeroRotation tools together so both SimC APL rotations and addon rotations are fully aligned - using these two tools together is how Rogue theorycrafting takes place!

Advanced Users/ Developer Notes In order to use this addon directly from its GitHub repository, it would be necessary to symlink every folder (HeroRotation folder and every class module except Template folder) over to your WoW Addons directory.
To get things up and running, add only HeroLib as a dependency (symlink HeroLib/HeroCache from your repository).
There is a script available that does this automatically for you: open symlink.bat (or symlink.sh), modify WoWRep and GHRep as per your setup, make sure HeroRotation directories do not already exist as it won't override them, launch it symlink.bat, and close.
